Vampire Diaries Among Many Early CW Renewals

The CW has handed early fall renewals to five series: The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural and America’s Next Top Model. Vampire Diaries — the network’s breakout hit of the season and its most-watched show — will be back for a sophomore run, while its Thursday night companion Supernatural will return for a sixth season. Gossip Girl and 90210 will enter their fourth and third seasons, respectively, and Top Model heads into cycles 15 and 16. Missing from the pickup list: aging hits Smallville and One Tree Hill, midseason replacement Life Unexpected and the struggling Melrose Place. Are you excited by the renewals? Vampire Diaries will go on hiatus after the Febuary 11th episode and won’t be back till March 25th. On the bright side as on March 25th they will have no breaks until the season finales on May 13th. — spoilertv.com |
